The Nature Water 5 Steps System from Nu Aqua Systems is an advanced and high-quality home water purification solution designed to remove over 700 contaminants and impurities from drinking water. This system is notable for its efficiency and ability to produce water at a rate of 100 gallons per day (GPD), significantly faster than many standard reverse osmosis (RO) systems. Additionally, it is equipped with a PPM meter that allows users to monitor water purity and total dissolved solids (TDS) levels, making it easier to identify the appropriate time for filter changes.
The Series 5 Stage 100GPD RO System includes a series of filtration stages to ensure water quality. It starts with a 1-micron polypropylene sediment filter to remove large particles like dirt, silt, rust, and sand, thus protecting the system and extending the lifespan of subsequent filters. The water then goes through a HydraCoil™ granular activated carbon filter that removes finer, deeply seated particles like sludge, rust, color, odor, pesticides, and other organic contaminants. A coconut carbon block filter then removes any remaining chlorine, chloramines, volatile organic compounds, heavy metals, and any bad taste or odor.
The core of the system is a thin-film composite, semipermeable reverse osmosis membrane that eliminates remaining dissolved solids such as salt. The purified water is stored in an NSF-approved tank until use. To ensure the highest water quality, an inline T33 granular activated coconut shell carbon filter polishes the water, removing any residual taste or odor just before the water exits the faucet.
